Our Family

Warren turns the  BIG  50  in  2012.    Will be a big year.

We have three children.  Our youngest is 9 and still enjoying the spoils and freedom of growing up on the land, riding horses, bikes, fishing etc. 

Our two adult children are both,  very  capable,  hands on,  contributors to the family business. They know the value and reward of hard work and committment.  We are encouraged by their ability, understanding and love of their land and the cattle we breed.  Both in their early 20's,   they also have careers away from the family business.

Trent has a Degree in Human Movement and Science as well as a Degree in Education.   He is collecting them.  In 2012 he is again studying and Teaching.   He still plays plenty of club and rep cricket.  Trent spent a year at home in 2010 and knows our business well.  He is home fairly often to give us a hand.  We save a lot of the tractor work,  property and equipment maintenance jobs for him.  He will work for cold beer.

Jade is now a Registered Nurse having completed her Bachelor of Nursing Degree.  She will begin her nursing career in 2012 as a Graduate in the Emergency Department at Rockhampton Base Hospital.  Jade also gets home when she can to help muster and give her horses some work.  She is keenly interested in the stud cattle.  We value her input and she has a vote in selection and direction of our stud herd.  

Lawson is 9 years old.  He is a keen fisherman and likes his horses and motor bike.  As a musterer he drifts off a bit but is generally there when it counts.  He always looks forward to weaning time, has his own dog and Warren is not allowed to swear at Lawson’s working dog.
